Hi, I'm Ash
I'm a branding & graphic designer based in Essex, working with clients across the UK and worldwide.
I've spent 13 years at Superfantastic, a creative agency in London, working across brand strategy, visual identity, publishing design, website design, packaging, art direction, illustration, animated titles and graphics for TV, editorial design, and marketing campaign identities and digital marketing assets. Working as part of a small creative team and directly with clients and their teams to bring ideas to life.
Along the way I've had the chance to work with brands across sectors such as hospitality, education, SAAS, charity, publishing, F&B including Jamie Oliver, Holland & Barrett, Penguin Random House, Wagamama, HelloFresh, Firmdale Hotels, Extract Coffee Roasters, and DfT.
This year I made the move to freelance, I'm still finding my feet, but it's given me the space to focus on the work and the clients I care about most: purpose-led brands, particularly those rooted in wellness, health, and fitness as they're areas I genuinely care about and am actively engaged with.
My design journey started at college in Southend and continued at university in Farnham, where I won a D&AD best of year award. Alongside my studies I was designing and illustrating band merch, which is where my love of graphic art took hold.
I'm currently available for new projects and opportunities, working remotely, or flexible in-studio, at £350 a day / £40 an hour or to an agreed project budget.
I've put together a short showreel below, highlighting some of the work i'm most proud of…
